Use it at the beginning of cooking to create a sweet, garlicky base. Add it at the end- traditionally garlic bread, marinades and sauces- for a deeper, more pungent flavor. Use 1 teaspoon of paste in place of 1 medium garlic clove. Store refrigerated for weeks after opening.
