About This Product

Formerly telma. Knorr Falafel Mix is made from choice ingredients such as chickpeas, wheat flour and spices. Traditionally served in pita bread with lettuce, tomato and tehina sauce. Falafel also makes a perfect hors d'oeuvre served together with cut vegetables and dips. For a great twist on the classic Falafel in pita, try serving on top of a salad. Directions 1. In large bowl combine contents of one bag with 1/3 cup plus 2 Tbsp water (100 ml). Let stand 10 minutes. Shape into 1-inch balls. 2. Pour corn oil into heavy skillet or saucepan to a depth of 1/2 inch. Heat to 350 degrees F. Add falafel and fry until golden brown, about 2 minutes. Remove; drain on paper towels. Makes about 12 falafel balls.
